China slapped a 34% tariff on U.S. imports on Friday, after the U.S. increased its duty on Chinese imports to 54%. Janet Mui of RBC Brewin Dolphin told Reuters the trade imbalance is so large, though, that will have limited impact - and Beijing will need to focus on boosting domestic consumption.
